Bakubung our 4 Star Lodge is situated in the ‘Malaria Free’ Pilanesberg National Park, home to the Big Five and many other species.

Audio visual facilities include slide projectors, built-in screens, portable screens, overhead projectors, a lectern, TV monitors, VHS VCRs, flipcharts and a big screen video projector.

Common features include Wall-to-wall carpeting and independent airconditioning.

Services include secretarial, fax, photocopying and internet/e-mail access.

The 24 Hr Conference Package

Includes the following:

Team Building & Activities


Wildlife Activities:
To make your stay memorable for your guests we suggest that you include a game drive and bush braai in your agenda. The bush braai is held in our boma situated 20 minutes from the lodge. The menu consists of traditional South African dishes. A bush braai is held on Wednesday & Saturday evenings for all hotel & timeshare guests. We offer the following activities:

- Game Drive
- Game Drive Bush Braai
- Boma Bush Braai
- Game Walks - 1 walk only per day with a maximum of six guests accompanied by 2 qualified rangers (early morning with packed breakfast)
  (walks are normally closed +_ Mid May to Mid Aug)

Other Nights:
• Game Drive Bush braais or Bush Braai’s only can also be arranged on any other evening subject to a minimum of 30 people being booked (Groups less than 30 pay for 30).
• For a Bush Braai Only on other nights for a group less than 30 a surcharge is applicable if your group is alone at the boma.

At present -
- Tuesday night’s buffet menu is an Indian Theme. A Thursday night is a Taste of Asia.
- Friday night has an African Theme. Monday’s & Sunday’s are our Chef’s Carvery.
- Wednesday & Saturday nights you can book our bush braai at our boma in the park, or dinner in our main restaurant being our Chef’s carvery.
- Room service : available between 11h00 & 21h00

Gala or Theme Dinners:

Subject to venue availability number of guests & entertainment for the function. Please liase with reservations for further information and suggestions. A large variety of menus are available for your selection. Prices are determined by the menu selection. Décor is not supplied. Should you require assistance in getting quotes for décor and entertainment please advise accordingly.

Group Transfers: (max 59 guests) To and from any pick up or drop off point. Transfers from to Sun City at a cost per person – one way. For large group transfers alternative arrangements can be booked at a cost to be advised.

Pilanesberg Airport Transfer: Available and to be pre-booked.

Our Shuttle Service: From and to Sun City - return. All shuttle/transfers must be pre-booked, the request is subject to availability and the number of guests in the party. To and from welcome bay 4 at the Sun City welcome station. Operating times: ( max 13 guests).
