Club Makokola is unquestionably the ideal year-round conference destination. Malawi's lakeside areas have a low rainfall, and a warm relaxing climate. For conventions incentives or other special gatherings, Club Makokola has a modern air-conditioned Conference Centre ideally situated in quiet bougainvillaea fringed gardens away from the main hotel complex.

Two main conference rooms are available, with one seating up to 110 delegates while the other seating 40. Breakaway rooms are also available and an open garden courtyard provides the perfect location for teas, barbecues or buffet luncheons.
Once a meeting is finished for the day, there's a selection of things to see and do. We will assist with ideas and proposals that will stimulate the participants to surpass even the most exacting expectations.
There's always sun, sand and the Lake. There's also golf, tennis, squash, boating, diving and sunset cruises.
Arrangements can be made for special events such as theme evenings - an Italian or Oriental evening, a pirate party or a beach party complete with the African rhythms of a local band. Authentic traditional dances performed by local villagers to the beat of mighty drums depict Malawian myths and legends and feature unusual costumes and masks and even dancing on stilts.
